Engineering Note: The HP-1253 is a 3-stage centrifugal booster pump designed to work in conjunction with ERI PX Pressure Exchanger energy recovery devices. It provides the differential pressure boost needed to bring the low-pressure PX output stream up to RO membrane feed pressure. AL-6XN (UNS N08367) wetted components provide excellent resistance to seawater and chloride-induced corrosion. Motors employ a customized thrust bearing — contact ERI for replacement or repair.
